139/365: 5-25-12 My little brother graduated last Friday. π
140/365: 5-26-12 Oreo balls at his graduation party.
141/365: 5-27-12 Part of the backyard.
142/365: 5-28-12 Sunnies. π
143/365: 5-29-12 Working on an upcoming DIY for The Fashion Spot.
144/365: 5-30-12 Summer garden!
145/365: 5-31-12 Meet “Al Pacachino,” the alpaca that makes everything better at work. When we get stressed, Al Pacachino takes care of the stress by letting you pet him. (Surprising solution, I know.) Right now he has befriended a nervous ninja turtle who needs constant stress relief, so the ninja turtle just hops on his back. π
**On a serious note, I also have an awful update to share about the kittens. Last Saturday when I went over to my grandpa’s house to check on them, I found them all dead. A male cat found them in the barn and killed them. It was so terrible. My 81-year-old grandpa said that he’s always heard that male cats will do this to kittens, he’s just never seen it. It’s just so hard to see young and innocent things like that dead, I was so excited to see them grow up. π
Poor kittens! We're always afraid of Toms killing our kittens too. Thankfully, the Toms that are here at our barn have grown up with the mommies (and aren't the kittens daddys since they're fixed) so they are a little more gentle with them. Some even protect them from the other Toms. The worst is when there is a sick kitten that is born and the mommas kill it π
I love the idea β₯ It's so inspirational :]
