Postcard post– similar to a “Polaroid Post” but with postcards. ๐ I bought these postcards in a little shop called Wildwood in Greencastle, IN the semester after I got back from NYC.
I used to have these postcards taped to my desk for my entire senior year. There’s just something about New York for me– it makes me think faster and move faster. I’m not comfortable there, ever, but I love it. I think sometimes we, as people, enjoy feelings that we can’t quite categorize. We like to figure out solutions, but we like things better when they are mysterious, surprising, and puzzling. Art. Significant others. Food… New York is a bit like that for me. It’s old, but it’s new… I love it, and hate it at the same time. How does that even happen? ๐
I'm in love with this post. Great postcards!

Haha, I live in New York and I have a total love/hate relationship with the city! I think it has something to do with the unpredictability of life here– you never really know what you're going to encounter when you're out and about (which can be awesome or TERRIBLE)! I love these postcards, though– it's amazing how much the view has changed by the Williamsburg Bridge!
