This photo is from about a month ago when I went hiking upstate at this little spot called Breakneck Ridge. It was the strangest little train stop I’ve ever seen– you have to walk to the very back of the Metro North train to walk down these wooden steps when you get off the train. There is no platform, just steps.
Then, when we were hiking, the first 40 minutes of the hike, *ahem* climb, consists of climbing up giant rocks. But it was incredible. The views. The company. It was all perfect. I loved the part of the hike when the woods just opened up and I could see our little hiking troupe climbing down the hill. Good thing I brought my Instax for it. 🙂
Happy Friday! <3
