There have been a few times when I realize how irrational my shoe collection is when I look in my closet and all I see are sequins, glitter, fringe, and purple suede… but I love a whimsical shoe. And I really love a good shoe DIY like some of these beauties.
1. DIY Saddle Shoes
With some puffy paint and a pair of cheap white sneakers, you’ve got yourself a retro-modern pair of sneakers. (How does retro modern even make sense?) Via Bleubird Vintage
2. Dolce and Gabbana Glitter and Sequin Heels
If you haven’t seen this DIY I don’t know what Internet rock you’ve been hiding under… I kid. I kid. Via LoveMaegan
3. DIY Anthropologie Scarf Flats
Ok so these aren’t a DIY yet, but the scarf girls and I are totally going to make them at work when Sarah comes back from getting married and honeymooning and nonsense. 😉
4. Zig Zag Sneakers
Who cares about the iconic Italian designer. Ever since Missoni for Target crashed some websites and cause mass chaos with its zigzagged awesomeness, I can’t get the sharp colors and bold corners off my mind. Via Refinery29
5. Sparkly Toe Heels
Completely brilliant… literally too. Via Hits and Fits
6. DIY Glitter Oxfords
I have to glitterfy a pair of shoes now. Via Little Glass Box
Also– I am totally obsessed with Pinterest these days and I spend way too much time on it. Eep!
Hi Stacie,
Thanks again for including Hits And Fits in this roundup – looks like we're in great company! (I especially love those glittery oxfords.)
Fun blog you have here – I look forward to reading through your archives and keeping up with future posts!
