Last weekend we took a little trip up to the northern tip of Manhattan to visit the Cloisters. The Cloisters museum and gardens are a branch of the Met with more of a focus on architecture, sculpture, and tapestries. (There was one room full of these monstrous tapestries depicting a unicorn hunt… and then there was a narwhal tusk sitting in the corner of the room. It was a bit “misguiding” as my roommate, Adele, said. ;))
If you’re the type of person that enjoys being outside, I definitely recommend a trip to the Cloisters on your next visit to the city. It’s just so cool to think that there are all these pieces of beautiful French abbeys and medieval churches just sitting up at the top of the island.

A bit of pattern-mixing… And Adele blended in with the rocks. π
The Hudson. π
I bet you had fun. π I really like Adele's sweater!
