“If only them boots could talk
about life on the range …”

I have been looking for cowboy boots for years. I had these red cowboy boots when I was really little that I wore to death (still have them too! I’ll have to find a good picture of me in them and put it up.) Anyways– I finally found the perfect used pair in NY and I spent 3 rainy days watching Meryl Streep movies that I borrowed from CBS and stitching beads into the stitching that already existed on the boots.
Not gonna lie, it was painful and tedious but these are definitely my favorite shoes now. And the fact that I worked so hard for them makes me believe that I will be wearing them when I am an old lady.
I think these colors– especially together– are so beautiful.
Whenever I wear this necklace, I always get some sort of comment. I got it on Ebay for 10$! That is including the shipping. I love Ebay so much– I am 97% sure the necklace is fake– but it feels SO real. And I am pretty good at recognizing turquoise. I have told people that my necklace is fake and they don’t believe me.
Just type in “turquoise necklace” in Ebay and sort through. 🙂
love the beadwork on the boots…did you sew throught the leather or sew the stitching on the boots? either way, i am impressed! love the necklace too!

Your outfit is perfect, and these are so cute. Perfect for Turquoise Thursday (it's a thing I do on my blog). Have a great week.
Thank you so much, Crystal! You too! 😀
