So… An exciting little announcement– I’ve moved to New York! These past few months have been some of the craziest and most stressful of my life… finding an apartment, getting a job, furnishing said apartment, and stuffing it all in a cargo van to go from Indiana to NYC… π Whew! While I am really sad to leave behind so many people that I love in Indiana, I am so excited to start this next chapter in my life.
Right now, my roommates and I are trying to stuff all of our things in our tiny (but perfect) place… and make it as cozy, warm, and inviting as we possibly can. (And I’ve still got to find me a craft shop in the city. ;))
A bit of progress… Gotta get stuff on the walls soon!
Making curtains from shower curtain fabric.
While I’ll be living in the city for the indefinite future, I’ll always be a sheep-raising, crafting, thrifting Hoosier cheapskate. We’ll see how this goes. π
WHAT?! okay, there's a huge new michaels on like 101 and Amsterdam ish… but you should google it. and there's a cute ass stamp and crafty store down on 11th st and 8th ave… and Kate's paperie ( multiple stores) is adorable and sometimes expensive…
congrats !!
Yay, Stacie! I can't wait to hear about your NYC adventures. Your apartment looks so cute. Make sure you keep a lookout for P'Trique!
Boo I just moved out of NYC! Have fun, I miss it already! If you ever need craft supply sources, don't hesitate to ask!

Good luck with your new venture in life! Sounds thrilling!
Welcome to NYC! π I'm an ex-Hoosier, myself! I hope you have a great time here!
welcome to our lovely (but sometimes stinky) city! I too am an ex country gal, it's not too bad of a transition π Oh – and there's a Micheal's in the Upper West Side, and some other small spacklings of quilting, knitting, and art supply stores spread throughout the city.
hope you love it as much as I do!

Bah! You just moved out!? Noooo!!!!
If I ever have the extreme luck and pleasure to see P'Trique on the street, you bet I will go up to him gushing out the wazoo. π π (And then I'll tell him of my fabulous frandz back home who he needs to follow on Twitter. ;))
I think you'll love new york. :o)
